Elizabeth Killebrew, MD, FACOG, NCMP, CCD, is a senior partner and the president of Southern Crescent Women’s HealthCare. She’s also a talented gynecologist who’s been delivering babies and practicing pediatric and adolescent gynecology in the Southern Crescent since 1987. She currently sees patients at the practice’s locations in Fayetteville and Newnan, Georgia.

Dr. Killebrew graduated from a six-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri in Columbia and went on to complete her internship and residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She’s currently certified by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists in hysteroscopy and advanced laparoscopic skills. Dr. Killebrew is also a (North American Menopause Society) NAMS-certified menopause practitioner and she recently passed the exam given by the American College of OB/GYN for focused practice care in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. 

In her practice, Dr. Killebrew is highly skilled in performing minimally invasive gynecological surgery such as hysterectomies and myomectomies. She is passionate about helping women acheive optimal surgical outcomes with the least invasive surgery. Dr. Killebrew is a renowned practiioner for her abilities with the da Vinci® Surgical System, which is available at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayette County, Georgia. She had the honor of performing the first robotic hysterectomy at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in 2010 and is very active in the specialty field of laparoscopic robotic surgery.

She has received privileges to perform the Acessa procedure a new radiofrequency technique performed laparoscopically to destroy Uterine Fibroids. She passed the ABOG first ever exam designating expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). It is called Focused Practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
