H1N1 Swine Flu
Our practice is following guidelines from the CDC and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists regarding prevention, vaccination, and treatment of the Swine Flu for all Pregnant Women. When the vaccine is available (mid-October), our first priority will be pregnant patients and medical office staff as recommended by the CDC. If there is sufficient vaccine available, non-pregnant women may receive the vaccination. Routine influenza vaccination (“Flu shots”) are on order and are recommended for all pregnant women in any trimester in addition to Novel H1N1 vaccination. If you or your child/family are sick, please do not come to the office without further instruction from us.
